Hi,
Since I updated my Flash Pro Manager to 1.2.8 the Cruise Control is not engaging at all.
Flash Pro FP-SI-US-13513
Car 2007 Civic Si USDM
ECU Stock
Calibration
The Cruise Control Light comes on when it is turned on but when I hit Set to engage it, it does nothing. I doubled checked that the option was selected on the calibration and I reflashed the ECU twice to make sure, and it didn't work.
I have to check if it is doing the same on my S2000's Flash Pro.
Please fix this.

Re: Cruise Control Not Working
Alright, thanks for the advice.
I went back to the stock map, and it works fine. Then I went back to the previous map I had, which is the Stock Tuned one. It works perfectly.
Finally I went back to the Map I had problems to begin with in the first place when I started this post. (Check first input).
I just discovered somethings on this map today while I was driving.
First the Cruise Control WORKS but not properly. I noticed that the Cruise Control works if I am going 25 MPH or more as it is supposed to in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear. What I discovered was that when I am in 6th gear, and hit the set button, the cruise control Engages but in less that one second it automatically disengages. The same way it does when you hit cancel or depress the brake. Then I try hitting the set button again and it does nothing.
Then I downshift to 5th to try again and Cruise Control works in 5th again no problems but I shift back to 6th and it does everything all over again. It engages and disengages.
With all do respect, all I expect from Hondata is to look into this problem. It might be user error, that is what I though in the first place but now that I have tested it out with the other maps that I have used before. I am suggesting that it could be something in the software that could be fixed in another update. I keep checking the settings that I have selected on the Map in question, double check that Cruise Control is enabled. It is enabled as you can confirm by looking into the file.
It is completely weird that the Cruise Control works in all gears except 6th gear which is the only gear I like to use Cruise Control especially on long drives.
Please Look into this problem. I have faith in you guys, I have been a faithful Hondata Customer since I bought my first Honda Civic in 2007. Now I have a 2007 S2000 and I have Flash Pro on both cars. The Hondata Reflashes and the Flash Pro has brought me a lot of Smiles while I enjoy my 2 Hondas.
Best Regards

Re: Cruise Control Not Working
Ok, give us a couple of days to try out your calibration in my Civic. Are all your gear ratios and final drive stock?

Re: Cruise Control Not Working
Yes, the transmission is Completely stock. All I have in my Civic is a K&N air filter, stock exhaust manifold, down pipe with no Catalytic converter and a 65mm cat back exhaust.
Re: Cruise Control Not Working
There was a problem with the calibration.
To fix it, in the calibration window -> gear ratios use the select button to re-select the 'US Civic Si' gear ratios. Then make a change to any one of the gear ratio values so that the value is saved to the calibration. eg change 2nd gear ratio from 2.13 to 2.1, then back to 2.13
I've changed the software for the next release so that to select button will do this for you without needing to edit a value.

Re: Cruise Control Not Working
Thanks, I just updated the map with your advice. I will test it tomorrow. However I have a question. Does this mean that if I ever change the final gear in the future, I will lose the cruise control for good? Or with the next update I will still be able to use it regardless?
Thank you for your help, best regards.

Re: Cruise Control Not Working
If you change the final drive the cruise control will work. Gear detection for boost control, however, may be out.
