hi guys.
i was driving my car really hard against 2 very badass ducatis up a mountain. on top of it my car was getting a bit to hot, so i stopped pushing to let it cool down. not really a problem, but i saw, that my a/f readings where on max. lean! i was searching for any bad corrections in my map, but couldn´t find anything. maybe one of you can help me to fix it.
best you see it @ 10:26 on my log. a/f - 1.36, short trim -30%
thanks for helping
what i forgot: after sitting in a diner for a while, everything worked fine as usual again!

Re: lean at closed loop
The o2 sensor may have overheated. I've noticed that the heater is disabled, which often indicates a problem.
You could always run off the wideband for closed loop.

thanks for your fast reply.
i am using the plx setup for both inputs to the ecu. the stock o2 sensor is not installed. so when i get readings via wideband, there should be also the correct input @ narrowband, which is also made by the plx unit.

The wideband may have overheated as well.
Re: lean at closed loop
yes, it is possible that the wideband was getting to hot. but why is the system doing the wrong thing? when it is getting the info, that it is to lean, shouldn´t it enrich to reach the target lambda? it is getting the voltage of lambda 1.36, to hot or not doesn´t make any difference, or does it. and the narrow band is just simulated from the wideband, so it is the same info for the ecu. do i understand something wrong here?
and i was driving really long without pushing, so everything has cooled down. and after the first break (when this log ended), i started the car new, and the problem kept the same. and there was nothing hot anymore, also not the wideband, because of rolling down the mountain without throttle!! egt gauge was below range all the time.

Re: lean at closed loop
If the both the narrowband and wideband come from the same PLX, and they don't match (the wideband shows lean; the narrowband rich), then something must the wrong with the analog inputs or the wideband controller.

and it was healing itself, lol.
