Spunkster
hi, I just got a rebuilt block motor dyno tuned since the previous tune was for a stock block at low compression and some higher compression ratio pistons were installed. The tuner claims that he was only able to tune it part throttle 70-80 % since i only paid for an hours dyno session and i really need the car to drive i was ok with it. How hard would it be for me ( i have never use hondata or tune a car ) to go tune the car for full throttle without damaging the motor on the street?i do have a wideband. or, is there any way where i can email you the current tune and specs on the motor so that you can tune it for full throttle? also, what does part throttle tune mean, that i cant press the gas pedal to the floor without blowing up the motor if an occasion arose for safety that i would need to accelerate and push the gas pedal to the floor? also, how long would it normally take a tuner to tune from stock wastegate 5-6 lbs. to 15-17 lbs. ? as i do not want to get rip off. please reply with any info.
Re: Spunkster
This needs to be tuned on the dyno.
