please provide details and explanation on this new function. doesn't seem to be in the help file. does the rate increase or decrease the sensitivity of tps changes before tip-in fuel is triggerred?

Changing the rate will change the shape of the curve you get when tipping in.

Can we clarify on how this [tps>tip-in fuel] differs with the tip-in under [fuel trim] ?

In the help file (and calibration) we have

Tip-in Fuel Normal
At 31F ECT: "Rate" is 77
At 145F ECT: "Rate" is 128

1) What does the lower number (77) represent vis-a-vis the higher number (128)

I would have thought a bigger enrichment (i.e. larger "rate" number) is required at colder temperatures - please clarify as it is counter-intuitive.

2) What does increasing the number "rate" do?

3) Under Tab "Fuel Trim" there also is a "throttle tip in trim" - how does this differ with and/or interact with the above.

The numbers are parameters to a complex function which determines how much tip in fuel to use. They don't have specific units. If you get too much tip in fuel, then decrease the rate, and vice versa.
