WOT/Open Loop very rich

I'm on stock intake. Aftermarket free flowing air filter. strim was adding about 5% across the line. I changed the AFM Flow setting, and now the line stays right around zero.
But, when it switches to WOT, I'm logging a/f of about 11.0:1 (between 10.5 and 11.5).
Oddly, when in closed loop, and getting up near that same area (close to 4 AFM Volts, (3.8 technically) reading from the sensor) it's ok, or maybe a little lean.. getting +1 or +2 strims. But, WOT at just a little higher reading (4+v), as I said, I'm super rich.
From what I understand, tuning that AFM Flow setting is my only option. But, I'm getting conflicting results from the vehicle. Under one set of conditions (closed loop acceleration) I'm lean at close to 4v, and under another (full throttle/open loop) I'm super rich.
It would seem logical to edit the WOT tables, but from what I've read, that isn't really an option either.
Let me konw if you want to see any cals or logs, but I'm thinking this is common w/ MAF tunes, and someone might just have a quick answer for me.
Thanks a lot.
