FlashPro Unlocking Help

Hi, I am having difficulty unlocking my flashpro from my car. I connected the flashpro to the car and used the "return ECU to stock" option and it completed successfully. After getting internet access I used the "unlock from vehicle" option and I keep getting an error that says I need to "upload a stock calibration before the Flashpro can be unlocked". I do not understand what that means or where I went wrong. The car is an AP2 Honda S2000. Thanks for your help in advance.

Are you using the 'return to stock' function or uploading a 'stock equivalent' calibration?

I sent over the requested info through your help menu as someone from Hondata has said to do in response to my email I sent. If we are able to solve the issue I will update the thread in case it can help others in the future with this.

Update your software to 1.2.7.0

That didn't help, still getting the same error message.
I will have access to the car one more time next week (car was totaled). Should I try hooking the FlashPro up to it one more time and trying the "return ecu to stock" again? Or should I try something else?

Try 'return to stock' and then 'unlock' in the car. If that doesn't work, try to take the ECU out of the car. You can then always put it in another vehicle to unlock it of send both to us.

Ok, I will try that next week. Do I need to upload a stock map to the FlashPro or does it hold one inside of it for when you return the car to stock?

You need to have the the laptop in the vehicle when you return it to stock.

This is unbelievable. I got access to the car one more time. I did everything I was supposed to, I returned the ECU back to stock and then when I went to unlock from the car, it said I needed internet access. So I took my laptop to a place that had internet without closing the program OR unlplugging the flashpro and I am STILL getting this same error now. This is unbelievable. I now have a $600 paper weight because the unlocking process is so complex for this unit. What am I supposed to do now????

When you upload to the ECU how long did it take to upload?

It took about 1-2 minutes to complete.

Was there any wiring damage to the vehicle? What I believe is happening is that the ECU is not functioning correctly because a sensor or other component in the vehicle (possibly VSA) is not communicating with the ECU, and then the ECU is not getting into the state where it can be unlocked. If you send support information to us again it may help confirm this.
At this point we'll either need to the ECU, or if this is impossible, claim the FlashPro on insurance as it was indirectly damaged from the crash. We can provide a letter to the insurance company to this effect.

The flashpro let me restore the ECU back to stock just fine and when I went to unlock it, it said "are you sure you want to unlock" or something close to that and when I hit yes, it said I needed an internet connection. But then taking the laptop to a place with internet, this is when I got the error again. If the ECU was not working properly, why would it let me get as far as it did? The vehicle was damaged pretty badly but the electronics on the car still worked alright from what I could tell. I will send the support info over again when I get home. I wish it was easier to unlock this sucker from the car.
The Accessport I had on my old Subaru had a MUCH easier unlock procedure and didn't require internet access to complete. I don't see any reason why you guys couldn't do the same.

Hi,
I am buying a used flashpro from another user.
He has sent me a snapshot.
Which says: VIN unlocked under License Tab
Security Password: No under Security Tab.
However, under License tab --> Registered--> It says No.
Is that ok?
Should I go ahead and buy this unit?
Your response will greatly be appreciated.
Thanks.
