B16/B18 hybrid, N/A, high comp, skunk2 pro2

Post by TheProdigalSon »

hey guys,

Anyone got a map to help me with my first start and run-in process? I'm going to get it dyno tuned later, but just need something for the run-in process.

B18c block, crank, rods
B16 Ported/polished head
COMETIC 0.039" head gasket
12.23:1 Compression Ratio
Skunk2 Pro2 Cams and valve train
B16B Pistons (PCT)
Ported ITR Intake Manifold
70mm TB
Bisimoto V2 header
2.5" custom exhaust
390cc Injectors
380hp fuel pump

Will be using 98 octane (RON) fuel here in NZ (Mobil Synergy 8000), I think that's equivalent to about 93.1 octane (AKI) in the US...

Can anyone help me with this? :)

Head porting is about a stage 2 or 3, the valve guides are ground down, this is what it looks like...

You have no idea how wrong you are mate :) please keep general hear-say to yourself, I need expert advice.

If anything, we had to remove fuel because of the large cam profile on the primary lobes.
