Detonation for low loads/rpm

I use the base map of the JDM SiR b16a. My engine is a b16a with:
CTR cams, 10.85CR and all bolt-ons. I get detonation with premium unleaded for low loads (columns 4-7) at 2000-3500rpm. I had to retard timing by as much as 6 degrees to stop it. Does anyone know why this happens? I mean, I would expect this base map to work for my car almost as is.
