Hi,
I am experiencing a flickering of some sort on the data tables when I turn my ignition on. I see this before the engine is even turned over. I am assuming it is electrical noise. My battery has been relocated to the trunk but the ground seems fine just as it has been for years of driving. My vehicle is a 1994 prelude with a jdm h22a swap. I recorded the data log with the stock H22a calibration included with SManager.
Thanks!

Re: Noise/Flickering on tables
I just finished replacing all of the main ground wires, tried another usb cable, and tried an alternative power source to the laptop with no luck. The problem persists. Again this is happening without the engine running. I can still start the vehicle but data logging will not work for more than 1-2 seconds. Could this be a firmware issue? I just started using the current Smanager and I have owned this S300 for about 3-4 years.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: Noise/Flickering on tables
What has been done to the ignition system and what type of spark plugs are you using?
Re: Noise/Flickering on tables
I have a msd 6a ignition with a Blaster coil, Ngk iridium spark plugs, and VMS racing wires. The plug wires have never given me an issue before though I am going to order some OEM wires right now to try.
Re: Noise/Flickering on tables
I am sure that my datalogging issues are ignition related, I will fix that, but I am still unsure what is causing the odd readings on the data tables before the car is turned over.
Re: Noise/Flickering on tables
I cannot see what you are referring to.
Re: Noise/Flickering on tables
If you bring up the stock h22a calibration included with Smanager and play the datalog I attached on the original post you will see some weird stuff happening if you look at either of the ignition or fuel tables.
Re: Noise/Flickering on tables
Found the problem. ECU was bad.
