Hi,
I have to tune a S300 standalone on a Civic EG6 B16A2 (Europe). Mods are :
- 2.5" exhaust
- 4-2-1 headers
- skunk2 intake manifold
- skunk2 pro1+ cams

From which calibration file must I start ?
I tried the JDM P30 calibration file, but I get the knock sensor error code. The car owner tell me that there is no knock sensor on this engine. So I didn't use the good calibration ?
Even with no knock sensor, the ECU is pulling up to 9° ignition timing at 2500rpm, why ?

Is the knock sensor disable?

You mean disabled via smanager ? No. I didn't know I had to do that. Will do it, I suppose this feature is in the parameters ?

What about the choice of the basemap ? Is jdm p30 good for a European Eg6 ?

Another problem, when I set the units in the parameter, my choises are loosed each time I close Smanager, even if I save the calibration file. Is there a way to save my unit configuration ?

The latest 1.5.4.0 on Windows Vista.
I downloaded it last week.

Hi all,

some news, I was able to use the smanager software well on the windows seven OS (on Vista there are too much crashes and bugs of he soft) but in order the usb connection works I had to launch smanager in windows xp compatibility mode.

So I was able to start to tune the car.

I disabled knock sensor, and now all works fine. Thanks

I have attached a dyno graph of what the final tune gives (Vtec on at 5500rpm).
