yes im having an issue with vtec engagment. I have a pr4 ecu with hondata S300 in jdm gsr. I uploaded the itr stock basemap also saved the one the previous tuner dicked me on just incase. So when going to take the car for a test drive i cracked it in first vtec came in very strong like its suppose to when i shift in to second then it threw error code for vtec spool and know after i cleared the code i still have check engine light and vtec wont engage. Thanks in advance.

As strange as it may sound, in my experiance, the majority of vtec codes are caused by low oil levels. Make sure your oil if full. Im assuming u have a 21, or 22 code? They both have different diagnostic flow charts....my 2 cents, hope it helps. list what code u got...

Disable VTEC spool error check in the VTEC parameters.

At the very least post a calibration so we can see what you are working with. Or follow the rules and post a calibration and datalog....
