I have recently recieved a hondata kpro from a friend and it has a cylinder 4 misfire. I have the factory ecu in currently and runs perfectly fine. i have tried switch coils and plugs, all the injectors have 13ohms (its a factory injectors from an 05 civic si with k20a3). it is getting spark to the number 4 cylinder with kpro installed. the only thing really left would be that the injector isnt getting a signal. if i unplug the 1,2,3 cylinder injectors or coils it dies. i have tried to clear security and reload a base map and still does it with the newest firmware update.
What im wondering is if the mother board is bad or something of the sort.
cylinder 4 misfire?
Re: cylinder 4 misfire?
What is the serial number of the K-Pro board and ECU?
Re: cylinder 4 misfire?
I will get that to you later I am an hour away from it and at work till 6'ish eastern time. Sorry about that.
I can also datalog the ecu and monitor all sensors, plus upload any calibration just fine.

Re: cylinder 4 misfire?
That is the ECU part number, I need the ECU serial number.
Re: cylinder 4 misfire?
IS that on the outside fo the ECU or on the inside?
Re: cylinder 4 misfire?
that one is on the outside of the ecu.
there is an inside one that has the same part number but below that is 1412253x17
