VTEC Window upper boundary settings and damage ?

Post by Zoro2006 »

It's wise to set VTEC Window upper boundary (lower is set to 4100 rpm and 92 kPa) settings for example 5800 rpm at ~ 70 kPa ? I think that such settings stress and even can damage rocker assembly, right ?

The only danger is when the rocker arm floats on the lost motion assembly. This happen at least at 7500 rpm.

so for K24A2 I can leave low 4100 rpm 90 kPa and for high 5800 rpm 72 kPa ?
