K-Pro III

Is there a detailed listing of what all this can do above and beyond the previous version?
8 additional analog inputs for datalogging
-So this would allow for oil temp/pressure and 6 more items to be datalogged/displayed? Awesome
Digital input
-I have no idea what this could be used for, is there an example you could provide?
Is there going to be a new version of KManager that incorporates the updates/changes, which will show the technical stuff that's changed in the help file?
Thanks!

Yes, there will be a KManager release soon, which will have the help file updates.
Digital input is for future use, but probably will be used for a serial input from a wideband, so there are no voltage offset problems.

Three times the programming speed -- Can you provide more details on this?

Hondata.
I also have 2 questions.
1
Will there be in a K-pro system of settings for Live Tuning?
2
Will be the additional 8 channels are linked with Protection Parameters?

It programs the ECU in 1/3 the time. From the release notes - "The typical initial upload time has been reduced from over 30 seconds to under 10 seconds.".
Will there be in a K-pro system of settings for Live Tuning?
It is not possible with the processor type used in the PRB & equivalent ECU.
Will be the additional 8 channels are linked with Protection Parameters?
As per the release notes - "8 additional analog inputs for datalogging.".

The biggest question the S2000 KPRO crowd wants to know, about the latest board, is if the lean cut function is now supported or not? Based on past experiences and lack of attention to the need and per the release notes, the new wires are for data logging only and I can only assume Hondata is still neglecting this option.
The stock RSX has an OEM wideband feedback option and as to why this is still not a concern baffles me.

Could the additional analog inputs be used for switching the launch control on and off?

Has the K-Pro III solved the 05-06 RSX Type S speed sensor issue or is it still the same (intermittent cruise and speedo glitches...) ??

The KPro hardware has no influence over the 05-06 speed conversion. However, for the next release we made a software change which seems to help.

I had a question in regards to the map on the kpro when we send it in/get it back.
The same map will work on KPRO III, right?
Do we need to reload the map once we get the unit back from yall?

Yes data log onry, but why is this not coded for wideband feed back? The lean cut is an OEM function of the RSX ECU, I understand some people damaged their boards in the S2000 community attempting this mod. It was once supported but it was pointed out that the daughter board could not handle some aspect of voltage, but now it is from Hondata all it would take is additional coding...

Yes, and yes. Just upload your old calibration to your ECU.
saintjah: Wideband input to the ECU would need to be done directly to the ECU, not via the KPro, otherwise the response time for closed loop operation would be far too slow.
At no point was wideband input to the KPro/S2000 ever supported by Hondata - the only thing that was done was that the adapter board had some tracks for a RSX wideband sensor. If you want a wideband, then for less than $200 wire in a PLX, AEM, Innovate or NGK. If you really, really want to use a RSX sensor, unsupported, then jumper RSX A1 to S2000 E8 so that a o2 sensor heater over-current condition does not damage the adapter board.

Moving on from the RSX wideband stuff,
Will the 8 additional analog inputs be able to be read from an OBD scanner? Or, can I only view those 8 parameters while datalogging with a USB cable and my laptop?
