is my knock sensor faulty?

Hi i was using my S300/p72 ecu with my oem knock sensor(b18c5) okay before, was reading knock and retarding as it should. However, recently it just shows 5Volts that's it? Like when i turn on the key 0volts, but once i start up the car it just goes to 5Volts right away and stays at 5Volts for the entire datalog. Does that mean my knock sensor has failed or did i accidently press something wrong on my parameters/settings?

Yea i'm definitly hearing knock at the 1800-2300rpm 40-60% throttle in 5th, so when it's under load. But my datalog doens't show it nor does it pull timing. So i'm wondering if the knock sensor has just gone bad?
