PWM Boost Duty Cycle

Ok first time playing with a pwm ebc. on a previous post here we figured out we had the wrong settings selected for boost by gear from what Spunk said.
You have it set to gear based duty cycle and not gear based target boost.
Right now we are using the Fixed Duty cycle and recording every run. but there was an issue. we increased the duty and boost began to fell. in the logs and maps below you will see.
35%= 9.6psi
40%=10.5psi
45%=9.9psi
those were all 4th gear pulls.

Also wanted to ask is there a fast spool option?

How come "Gear Based duty" looks like you are supposed to input the desired PSI, and "Gear Based Target" you are supposed to input the duty cycle? im very confused on this?

Also trying to get this done before this Sunday for IFO. trying to hit a target of 16psi. then after IFO making a trip to the dyno to max out pump gas.

What wastegate spring are you using? Have you tried higher duty cycles? What solenoid are you using?

Hi Spunk, 6psi wastegate, yes we have used higher duty as we found for some reason its around 50% to hit 12psi this was using the gaer target. I wanted to dial in the boost by using the fixed duty then record the % and put into the gear target maps. its the Mac solenoid provided by Xenocron.

actually it was like 55 to 60% to hit 12psi. this would suck it 100% only allows 24psi and this car will eventually be over 30psi.

i wouldnt mind 50% being 12 but if it would hold 12. if you look at the logs the peaks are at the end. its not holding 9.9psi across the way or 10.5 across where the pwm is already at 30-35-40-45%????

As your looking at the list and notice the 1k injectors and my previous statement of 30+psi the injectors will change and so will pump gas to E85 in the future. and car has a full supporting fuel system

It is possible that the wastegate is not sealing, or that the diaphram is torn or pinched.

Wastegate has been torn apart and put back together due to everyone trying to tell me it was bad the last time. Only to find out it was a setting in hondata that was off. Wastegate has under 800 miles of use on it and nothing looks wrong to the naked eye..car has hit and held 13.9psi in the past

How are the logs looking to you Spunk ? nothing out of the normal?
We have taken aprt the waste gate and put back together and checked diaphragm and it was 100% put it back together then you told us we used the wrong setting. we changed the setting and was hitting 12-13psi.
on fixed duty we were dialing it in. doesnt seem to hold boost it doesnt hit target boost until redline at each change of percent.

Let me know if possible battery voltage issue. some runs its 14volts others its 13.2v we have pinned it down to a T1 battery relocate issue that they discontinued and changed parts. but it doesn't seem to change in psi with voltage change. please let us know. if we have to it will go manual boost by sunday.

You will have to try higher duty cycles and see what effect it has. The blow off valve may not be seated properly and be leaking as well. This sounds like a mechanical issue and not a software issue.
