s2000 runs leaner on closed loop

I have a 2000 s2000 with the kpro, I have street tuned my car with a plx wide band ( not hooked up to the kpro yet) in open loop it is running at about 14.5 afr on average. When I am done with my tune I set it to closed loop and run leaner at about 16.1. Am I overlooking something
