While using methanol injection, we usually activate the meth pump in the same method you would activate a nitrous solenoid except we are activating the methanol pump. What we are finding out is that methanol mixtures take about 0.5-1 second to actually reach the motor. Currently there is no way to delay the removal of fuel and addition of ignition at the motor when the pump is activated. The only way we can solve this problem is to increase lean cut delay to 1000ms which is on the "scary side" for some of us running 13+psi of boost. Is it possible to add another field where you can tell K-pro to activate the pump (or nitrous solenoid for comparison) and wait "X" amount of time before modifying the fuel and ignition?

A lot more people are experimenting with methanol injection lately and this has become a common issue. Thank you and this would be a GREAT addition for us.

Just realized I probably should have put this in the Kmanager section...sorry!

A timer would give you the ability to dial in an exact delay. Curious if it would be possible to activate the 'nitrous' at a certain RPM, but not start removing fuel until some higher PRM - which could change based on how long you wanted to wait? Or have the pump already running, and use a solenoid right up by the engine to control the flow? The methy would start flowing almost instantly when the solenoid opens and not have to wait for the pump to ramp up?

Anything on this?

We definitely need a timer as no other setting will allow meth to spray before the ECU makes corrections.

When flooring the car from a roll you will be at different RPM's depending on where you start to throttle up the motor.

Is this possible?

If its not possible thats fine....I'd just like a yes or no maybe??

Still looking for this possible fix. Is it a difficult field to add? Am I not explaining what I want good enough?
