New Kmanager 1.5.1

I'm a bit confused as to what the new knock tables do. The ignition limit table is attached to the main table for ignition according to help, but if I change the table I dont see any timing changes, so what exactly am I aiming for? I'm running 92 octane and do want a feature to help adjust for knock and estimate values of how much timing before knock may occur but I'm not completely sure how to use these new tables, but they look like they could really help.
I also noticed setting in kmanager I didn't notice before called "enable high speed datalogging", what is this?
Is there a way to datalog using street runs to adjust the cam angles?
Suggestion: there should be a process that calculates for HP and perhaps TQ, since the acceleration and speed is noted I'm sure there is a way to determine using the VSS and the internal timer.

Changing the knock ignition limit may not change the ignition timing - see the help file
http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/knock_control.htm
Don't use the high speed datalogging - it was for testing only.
When tuning cam angle we find that many dynos are not sensitive enough to show the differences from each angle - street tuning would be very difficult.

There are a couple applications out there (RazDyno, written in Excel; and KDyno, written in VB6) that can read in a Kpro datalog and draw you a torque curve. It's possible to do a full cam angle tune using these, but there are a few caveats
- You need to find a very flat, preferably very secluded (so you don't endanger other people or get yourself arrested), stretch of road and do the entire tune on that stretch, in the same direction every time.
- Do not add/remove mass to the car partway through - that's going to skew your readings
- Make sure you do the whole tune in one day - changes in barometric pressure, wind, and even humidity can skew your readings (remember, it's measuring acceleration, so a change in air resistance makes a difference). This sounds easy, but trust me, doing your tuning on the street takes forever.
- Your laptop's going to need to be fast enough to log the data points from Kpro very quickly.
Personally, I'd advise just finding a decent dyno and paying for dyno time. You'll spend a LOT more time doing it on the street, and there are inherent risks involved. It took me almost two hours just to do the 0 and 10 degree low speed cam angles.

Plus, what Hondata said - it's likely that you might not get the precision you need to do a good cam angle tune.

thanks for all the answers.
Ive been using the knock option but dont see any changes in the ignition tables regardless of what I do in the new knock settings. If its used for different range fuels only then im better off not using it anymore... i always use 92 anyway...
Anyone have any use for it so far?
Also, whats the max you can increase ignition? I used to think it was 50 but the tables said 59.
