Q about the k series programable use on 02 si

I am planning on getting the programable unit for my k20a3 and having it dyno tuned at a hondata dealer. Are all of the programable units( for the a,a2,a3) basically the same? I just want to make sure there will not be any problems when they try to tune it. Also, will I be able to access the base maps for the A3 when they come out. Thanks in advance.
