Basemap for P08 Ecu.

I have a P08 with S300 and was wondering if I could use the calibration for the P30 stock B16A that is listed in the Calibrations? Would this provide a good basemap and then tune it from there?

Thanks again for all the support!

Ken

Just want to add to the above. It's a stock B16A with E/I/H and I am adding a small shot of nitrous. I want to use the S300 for the nitrous and launch control and need a good base map to tune from there.

I have tried uploading the B16A basemap and took it for a short drive. After stopping for fuel, the car stuttered at around 3500rpm, almost like a rev limiter cutting in, drove home and haven't tried it since.
The P08 is from an automatic car and the dealer who installed told me the auto was disabled in the unit. How do you check this by looking at it? What could I be doing wrong in uploading the basemap?

Thanks

Here is a datalog of my test run after uploading the basemap for the B16A. Why are the Tables and Parameters showing nothing?

You can see the 3415 and 3485 rpm's where the "rev limiter" type stutter was going on.

Any ideas from this?

Thanks

You cannot see the parameters or tables unless you load the calibration that has been uploaded to the ecu. Datalogs and calibrations are 2 separate things.

Thanks, I do understand datalogging and calibrations, but can't seem to find out why I have a stutter like launch control at around 3500rpm when I upload the B16A basemap. I checked the settings for launch control and rev limiter and everything seems to be normal.

check the cells on this rpm maybe its running v rich on the cali?

also check the ecu isnt switching onto the vtec table at this point but the engine not actually activating vtec.
