How to Play with Fuel tables...

Post by HondaTechn303 »

Hello Their,
I have a '95 Civic Sedan with B18C1, CTR Cams(In. & Ex.), 2 1/4 inch Exhaust, B16 Trasmission.. Nothing made for race.. My question is How do I adjust Fuel Trim tables, I'm running alittle lean. I want to learn how to use this product.. I just want to get better MPG....

Honda Specs for Fuel Press. is 39-46psi, How would I adj. the "Overall Fuel trim" What do I enter for Old and New? My Fuel Press. now is 41 psi.. I don't know how to Adj. the Tables.. When I data log, I see a lot to -31% to -42%. How do I adj. this??? Do I adj. this by just typing in -31% to adj????

I apologize for all these ???s I have, I'm just use to working on Vehicles at the Dealer without having to do anything to the ECU... Now that I got this sys for me, I wanna learn... To me it seems difficult... Our "MAP" values are in Volts, is their any way to change these settings to voltage??? Fuel trim(Short & Long) are also in Volts???

you should start reading, what fueling is all about.

what the AFR is, how it should be, what timing is about, what the fuel trims are for.

after you have a clue about that, you can start adjust it by pressing ctrl+d or ctrl+i ;)

best regards Lukas

It's not that I don't know Fuel, Timing & A/F Ratio... Its just playing with the tables... We don't do this at Honda.. I bought this for myself to play with... American Honda doesnt let us Honda Tech mess with ECU maps....
