I am having problems with the s300 in a p28 ecu when the car is running and I hit the datalog button or f10 it will datalog for about a min or so and quit. It still says online but the display is just frozen.
I would have to unplug and replug the usb cable to get it to datalog again correctly?
it uploads and downloads fine.
I am running version 1.5.3.0 beta
i uploaded the new calibration on to the new firmware and uploaded it to ecu.
I have updated the usb driver.
i am running ngk 9 plugs BKR9EIX
If anyone could give me some insight i would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.

Re: Datalog problems
It might be the aftermarket ignition system. Try returning the ignition to stock and see if the problem goes away.
Re: Datalog problems
ok ill give it a try and see.
what odd is that it never did it before.
Could it be the usb cable?

Re: Datalog problems
I am having the exact same problem with my datalogs, also the display for the sensors (rpm Tps af e.t.c) freezes after 1min. I have a stock ignition system. Only thing I did notice was q34 was burned on my P72 ecu, I believe this is for the iabs which I have always had disabled by disconnecting the vacuum hose anyway. My ecu is 2nd hand so I think Q34 got damaged by last owner. Could this be a cause perhaps?
Re: Datalog problems
Try the ECU in a known good vehicle and see if the problem goes away. If it does you know it has somethign to do with the wiring or components in your vehicle.

Re: Datalog problems
also, if on-board datalogging is enabled, disable it while your trying real time. Also use the USB cable that is provided by Hondata as it helps with the reduction of EMI Noise since it has ferrite cores on it.
Re: Datalog problems
Ive tried disabling on board datalogging, and im using the shielded usb cable supplied by hondata. I dont have the luxury of a spare car to try it on unfortunately.
Datalogging ran for a few minutes before freezing again today.
I did notice that im not getting any EGT readings. Then I realized i dont have an EGT sensor, it was left in my old cat when i got a decat fitted.

Re: Datalog problems
While data logging, Are you using or do you have anything plug into your cigarette lighter? it's doing that same thing what you're talking about when I was using the laptop's car charger.
