FPM disappears from screen after opening a calibration

Post by tu5j4 »

I downloaded the latest FPM 1.1.8.2 version on my Euro 2008 CTR and now everytime I want to open my calibration FPM is wiped from the screen.

What`s going on?

Can you open a calibration from File -> New?

Can you also send the calibration to crash@hondata.com?

I can open a file from the new calibration section. Strangely enough it doesn`t show the values in the 2D/3D colums on the right side.

I tried out all the other calibrations I have but none of them seems to work.

I sent you the calibration I use most of the time.

Paul.

There is a problem using locale settings which have a decimal separator other than .

I will make a new release shortly.

See the main beta thread http://www.hondata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12435

Flashpromanager is working again and I can load my calibration to it, but now it seems the whole map is completely messed up.
The compensation tables are showing the weirdest of numbers, for instance I now have 100 degree ignition advance on cyl.3 in the inidividual ignition table, MAP window pressure show random numbers.
All the other parameter tables are littered with random values and numbers. I`m too scared to start my car on my current calibration.

Can you take a look at my calibration please and tell me what`s going on?
I will email it to you.

Another issue. I suddenly cannot get into FPM anymore. It shows up on the start menu, but is not in bold cursor. I cannot get a direct connection from FPM to the start menu.

If the calibration is messed up, then it is damaged and you cannot use it. Go to the New Calibration button and start with a new calibration.

If the software will no longer launch then it sounds like you have antivirus software which is removing the executable. The best thing to try is to uninstall the antivirus software then reinstall our software.

You will need to go back to a calibration saved with a version prior to 1.1.8.2.

I always switch off the antivirus program when downloading a new version of FPM.
It`s getting worse now. I can`t download FPM anymore. It`s getting stuck everytime I try to download it.
Before that FPM worked temporarily but as soon as I switched if off I couldn`t get it back on.
Also, I cannot get a quick connection between FPM and the start menu. The computer cannot find FPM.
