here is a datalog of cam angle jitter which only occurs doing part throttle/daily driving.. when I go WOT it doesn't happen and the cam angles follow the CAMCMD nicely. Ive looked at my vtec solenoid screen which is fine, im assuming my vtc screen is also fine juding by the vtec screen.. im gonna start off by replacing the vtc solenoid first.. if that doesn't solve the issue, what would be the next probable cause? Car is a 02 RSX-S

I have not seen it with this much swing before. Check the screens, check the main ground point on the manifold for broken wires etc and possibly try a new calibration. If that looks good it could be the VTC itself (I've had one die because I knocked the VTC when installing an engine) or something else mechanical like low oil pressure or a camshaft problem.

im assuming when you say it could be the VTC. you are refering to the VTC oil control solenoid? I got one coming in the mail, gonna clean both screens before I install it.. if not it could be a camshaft problem? ive never had the engine pulled or done any work to it. all internals are stock. and I also keep the oil topped up always.. its kinda weird tho that it doesn't happen during WOT. im gonna try loading a stock kal and see if it changes. btw thx for ur help I love kpro and hondata products
