Could any damage have happened to the ECU or car by doing this? Im an idiot.. accidently forget to turn off the car. I heard the car start to die and soon realized what was going on and turned off the car right away. I haven't driven the car yet but at idle it seems to run fine

IT should be fine as long as you uploaded the complete calibration.

This may or not be related but I wanted to throw this in just in case you're new to kpro...after you load your initial calibration while the car is at a stop, you can make minor changes (change a value or two in a fuel or ignition cell) and keep the car running while uploaded the change. All you have to do is blip the throttle enough before you hit upload and the car should not die.

Only minor changes though...if you attempt to load an entirely different kal or table over the car will die. "Die" as in the motor will stop running, not "die" as in frying your ECU

We do not recommend doing this as it may cause an unsafe condition for the driver.
