how to check knock count with s300 and wideband question

how do u check knock count with s300 ? do i need to have my wideband wired into my s300 and how would it be beneficial and how do i wire it in i have aem wideband with digital gauge

knocking and AFR/Lambda don't have anything to do with each other.

the wideband is for checking the exhaust fumes for oxygen, the knock sensor is a microphone (simply said) connected to the engine block.

this microphone needs some electronics (external or internal in the ECU, is stock knock sensor) to eliminate false sounds and get the right knocking and count it.
