I recently purchased a brand new s300 p72 ecu and obd1 conversion harness from xenocron and have not been able to get the ecu you upload drivers on my laptop or even show up that the ecu is plugged in to the computer at all. I tried going through the USB troubleshooting and when the key is on smanager open and the usb plugged into the laptop s300 doesn't even show up in the device manager. My smanager is up to date and everything is plugged in properly. Checked to make sure the usb wasn't grounding itself to the ECU case as well.

Car is a 98 honda accord.

could it be I just happened to get a lemon ECU? or is there something simple I'm missing?

Who socketed the ECU? If it was Xenocron, you should contact them. Do the lights come on on the s300 when you turn the key on?
