Temp gauge stopped working,launch control playing up

Hi today we plugged my mates ep3 jdm civic type r into k manager for first time since he bought car and tried to turn the launch control on, launch control kicks in at 3500 rpm now but limits in 1st at 3.5k now no matter how steady you are with throttle
Also since we did this the temperature gauge on instrument cluster has stopped working

When we tried uploading first time it said the calibration on ecu was set up on old version k manager but continued anyway

Any ideas how to fix launch control and temp gauge?

Your ECU is in limp mode. IF the ECU has never worked in this vehicle, then it likely is the socketing.
I suggest you download and re-install the latest version of the software. Then perform the 'clear security' function twice, switching off the vehicle for a minute or two between each upload. Finally upload a built in calibration and see if that fixes the problem.
