Jumpy idle/flickering lights + ELD high voltage code

Post by eremoy »

When I'm at idle most of the time my idle will fluctuate and my car feels like it is about to stall at times. It seems to level out if I turn on my radiator fan or interior fan blower. I pluged my laptop in earlier and it threw an "ELD high voltage output" code. I also have some flickering of my clock, cluster etc.

In my parameters my emissions error checking is unchecked, purge system is enabled (what is this anyway), ELD is enabled, and multiplexor is disabled.

Is my ELD going bad or are there some settings I overlooked?

It's probably a coincidence but the idle problem began when I started using the beta version of kmanager.

I included a quick datalog if that's necessary.

Thanks

If you have flickering lights you have some electrical system problem that needs to be addressed. I'm assuming this is some kind of engine swap...

It's a k20a2 dc. There's no way that code is related to the flickering?

I can now confirm that it is something with my calibration. I re installed kmanager v 1.4.1.0 and uploaded the stock calibration and it ran much better. The stock calibration on the beta version (1.4.5.0) makes it run like this though.

You need to post both the datalog and the calibration it was made with and do the same thing using the non-beta version of software.

Here are the calibrations and datalogs you asked for. Everything was recorded no electronics on except headlights. The first log shows the idle with the beta version. From about 0:32 - 0:54 on that one is when I turn on my radiator fan and climate control fan. Thanks for looking.

In all the datalogs you have a problem with the battery voltage fluctuating quite a bit and very rapidly. This appears to be an electrical problem in the car.

Any idea on what would cause that? Battery/alternator health, or engine grounds possibly?

So it started cutting out again last night, but only in this cold weather we're having over here in cali. When I use my prc ecu it doesn't do this. Only with the kpro.
