wideband reading 17.2.......

Before I start this is my setup :

1993 integra gs-r B17a1 (canadian)
plx sm afr wideband
Blue innovate Lc1 A/F gauge
P28 ecu chipped with handata s300 (by xenocron)

To start off, I tried to setup my newly purchased hondata ecu in my car which is all stock. It would run.. but very rich. It runs perfect with my factory ecu. So, I thought maybe I need to install the wideband and it would be different. But it is still very rich. I can smell pure gas out of the tail pipe. I have everything hooked up to what I think is the correct way and my gauges reads 17.2 at all times, never changes. My ecu is also reading this. Any ideas what is wrong? I am using the stock p61 map. Could it be I have some wiring issues???

This should be my calibration. I basically have not touched anything from the stock p61 base map. I have only disabled ELD and o2 heater. Aside from that. not too sure why it is running so rich. It would run mint with my old factory ecu. I will try to get a datalog up soon as i figure out how.

if 17.2AFR was rich, it wouldn't be that bad... but unfortunatly it is pretty lean

If everything is connected correctly then you are running lean. Car should idle around 14.7. Note when tuning turn close loop operation off until you are finish tuning.

im thinking maybe my gauge is not reading correctly. Because this morning i was looking at the gauge in comparison to hondata....gauge reads 17.2 hondata read around 12.4. I can smell tons of gas out of the exhaust.

update : gauge is mot definately not reading correctly. I called PLX today and they said only plx gauges are compatible with a plx wideband. Can someone tell me how to save my datalog using the s300? cant quite figure out how to save it.
