Looking to find out if it's possible to install an IQ3 dash on an S2000 that's using a K-Pro but wanted to check that it's going to work in this specific application before purchase. This would be using the 230-VM-EFIHON interface.
Car is a '04 with a K-Pro (S/N 8114)
It's running a PRB map with RSX wideband/relay, etc
Can this setup support serial on E24?
If it can, I wanted to check that serial and USB datalogging aren't mutually exclusive? As in with the dash in place and monitoring, will it still be possible to log to the laptop.
Thanks
K-Pro to Racepak interface S2000 question
I see, thanks. It's a street car but it is running a PRB calibration to get closed loop and lean cut using an RSX O2 sensor for wideband. I do understand that this functionality and the additional wiring it requires isn't officially supported on the S2000, which is what makes this particular application unusual.
If I understand you correctly, the fact it *is* using a PRB kal means we should be good to go.

Re: K-Pro to Racepak interface S2000 question
Been a while but I'm finally getting around to setting this up and had a couple questions.
Regarding the documentation here - http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/in ... output.htm
Is bit 4 (MIL) of the Input Bitfield byte equivalent to the MIL being displayed on the stock dash? I want to test this value in the Racepak software to generate a MIL warning light on the IQ3. I'm hoping anytime the ECU would normally illuminate the MIL on the stock dash, this bit would be set in the serial output. Do I have that right?
Secondly, is the PRB E24 pin echoed on the S2000 harness anywhere or will I have to run a new connection to an unused pin?
Thanks again,
Greg

Re: K-Pro to Racepak interface S2000 question
Bit 3 should be the MIL output. RSX E24 is not connected to the S2000 side.

Re: K-Pro to Racepak interface S2000 question
Ok, good, I wanted clarification because it's called the input bit field. A little confusing, seeing as the MIL indicator is an output. Probably I'm just not understanding the context.Hondata wrote:Bit 3 should be the MIL output.
All right, no problem. We can hook that up unless you can see any problems with that.Hondata wrote:RSX E24 is not connected to the S2000 side.
