KManager V1.4.5.7 Beta

This release contains several additions to the KManager functionality - most of which are advanced.

Interface changes
Many features from FlashPro have been incorporated in KManager, including changed value highlighting, parameter table colorization, importing one table from another calibration and resetting tables to the last saved value.

OBDII
OBDII enabled/disabled has been split into emissions error checking, ELD and Purge system. We've found that you normally want to keep the purge system enabled unless it is an all out race car.

Acceleration Smoothing
We found that acceleration smoothing was the cause of uneven running and jerky ignition timing in datalogs.

WOT Compensation
Access to these tables has been added for improved air/fuel consistency for race vehicles without catalytic converters.

Knock Control
Access to knock control tables, identical in form and function to those in FlashPro has been added. This area often takes people some time to understand, so read the help files for both KManager and FlashPro on this topic.

Target Lambda
Access to the tables controlling closed loop target lambda has been added.

V1.4.3 Changes:
• Added ELD voltage to datalog export csv file.
• When multiple copies of KManager are run display a message and disable concurrent access to the KPro.
• Added value base color for Parameter tables.
• Added Changed Value Highlight for tables.
• Added acceleration smoothing retard tables.
• Added Revert to last Save and Import from Calibration to Table window and tables in the Parameters window.
• Added Secondary O2 Sensor, Purge System and ELD enable/disable.
• Added WOT compensation tables.
• Added knock control tables.
• Added Datalog AutoSave
• [PRB] - Added target lambda tables.

V1.4.4 Changes:
• Changed table window so that the toolbar wraps around.
• Fixed target lambda tables not being saved.
• Fixed stock knock parameter not being saved.

V1.4.5 Changes:
• Fixed knock retard and knock sensitivity high speed rpm indexes.
• Fixed VTEC not engaging when target AF was leaner than 15.0:1.

V1.4.5.1 Changes:
• Added additional multiplexer output options.
• Added better exception handling.

V1.4.5.2 Changes:
• Fixed access violation.
• Added datalog trim functions.
• Fixed WOT compensation tables double click editing when using AF units.

V1.4.5.3 Changes:
• More error reporting.

V1.4.5.4 Changes:
• Moved multiplexer options to a new tab.
• Fixed lambda tracing always showing on cam angle 0 table.
• Allow boost control to run below 100 kPa.
• Fixed PRA closed loop.

V1.4.5.5 Changes:
• Fixed calibrations where the low speed cam angle table was incorrectly marked as high speed.

V1.4.5.6 Changes:
• Added table axis tracing.
• Changed the 3D table tracing to accurately show the cells which are being read.
• Disable print and printer setup if no default printer is present.

V1.4.5.7 Changes:
• Better number display / entry for non-US regional settings.

Can not see cam angles in main table? Also no boost columns in the knock tables, as well as the missing cam angle.

edit: This is on windows xp, and I should add that you can still go through the cam angles but it does not display what cam angle you are on.

Drag the divider to the right.

Knock tables are not expanded (ie there are no boost columns for them).

trying to check the "Use stock knock control logic" won't save. When I re-open the kal it's unchecked again.

Wow sorry this has to be my first post, was very sure I already had an account... But anyway would like to thank Hondata for the brilliant KPRO software.

Never tuned an engine before but managed to tune my own car within a very short period of time. Map is fine as it is but after installing this beta I get Secondary O2 heater circuit malfunction (or something thereabouts). I was very worried at first as I thought it was my O2 sensor had gone but upon looking in the misc tab I unchecked emissions checking (and tried unchecking all - purge system enabled, etc.) but still the error code appears. Is there anything else I can try or is this a bug?

[FIXED - went through all the parameters and it seems secondary o2 sensor had enabled itself out of nowhere... I'll go back to my passive role of reading up on everything now :D]

'Emissions error checking' used to disable everything - Purge, FTP, Secondary O2, ELD. This was split into 4 different settings ('Emissions error checking', 'Purge', 'ELD' and 'Secondary O2') in order to give more control over what systems are enabled / disabled.

I tried changing the closed loop target lambda limit but the values are not staying. They will revert back to the old settings when ever the kal is opened again even though the kal was saved.

And also, is it just me or has the drop down box for cam angles and check box for applying changes to all cam angle tables disappeared from the tables window?

You need to be very specific and tell us exaclty what you have changed and alos upload your calibration. So far I have been unable to reproduce this.

I apologize and am adding more detail.

With Kmanager 1.4.3 Beta, in the Parameters window, under the Advanced tab, I tried to change the "Target Lambda Limit" under "Closed Loop Target Lambda". I changed all the values from 14.59 to 15.50. I then clicked another tab and then back to the Advanced tab to verify that the values stayed, and they did. I then saved the kal.

Upon opening another kal, or even re-opening the same kal, the old values are instantly reloaded.

I have re-downloaded and re-installed the beta and the issue is still there. I have included screen shots: photo1 is with the edited values, photo2 is what I see when I reload the kal.

exact same thing I'm seeing on the "Use Stock Knock..." check box. I check it, save my kal and close kpro, open it and go back to that tab and it's unchecked.

I thought the same thing when I read your first post. It seems to be happening with some of the new added features.

EDIT: I can reproduce your issue as well.

I also had memory error's every 10 minutes this morning while trying to use the data log autosave. I will have to do it again and grab a screen shot but what I did was set the data log to autosave, I chose a folder to put it in and selected the prefix of "Calibration Name" and the suffix as date and sequence number. I also checked the enable high speed datalogging.

I'm using windows 7 ultimate x64 on a dell 630 latitude.

When changing any setting it performs the change on every table... Where has the cam angles checkbox gone?
