K-Pro swap, k20 rsx-element

Ok here is the scenario. I had a k20 swap in an '01 civic with the Base '03 rsx 5spd (PND?) K pro mod ecu, using the rsx 5pd harness, added the ness o2 relay and what not. That car was totaled 3 weeks ago so now I'm swapping that in to my '03 element. I'm keeping the stock factory awd 5 spd (well converted 6spd) and wanted to bolt the motor up to it. The question is, do I need to have my ecu modified or just select the 'contershaft' option or both to utilize my factory gauges. I planned on using the rsx motor harness and just changing any ness pin outs from the element ecu. Thanks! -Chris

You will probably need to re-pin your e plug so that it matches up to the 02-04 ECU. Your A and B plug should be okay since you are using the RSX harness which is the same year as your ECU.

No, this will not work. You must use the same setup as an 05-06 RSX as it says on our website. The ECU must be modified and you must use the adapter harness.
