My understanding is that Hondata will NOT convert them back to 02-04 friendly ECUs.
The difference is the VTC control. 02-04 is 2 wire and 05-06 is 1 wire as the VTC using a common ground.
I believe you can ground pin B23 (VTC-) and will then be able to use the 05-06 modded ecu in your swap or 02-04 car. If that does not work you will either have to figure out where Honda takes the common ground from on the 05-06 harness, or sell that modded Kpro'd ecu (But hopefully you have the crossover harness or it is useless)
