Minor Bug in v1.1.6.7

Post by Pir8pete »

This has been an issue since day one, but it's not major. When highlighting an entire column to copy&past on another column where the values are different the values will change on the last two cells automatically. This is the case in all indexe graphs, eg. Ignition, fueling, cam angles, etc...

example:

all found using Windows 7 64 and XP 32

Thanks for the report, but what steps are you taking to get this to happen?

eg

Are you selecting the column with the keyboard, mouse by clicking on the column heading, or by clicking and dragging down the whole column?

When do the values change? Upon copying or pasting?

This happens when using the mouse to select the the column heading by clicking on the number at the top that indicates the row of cells, example 1, 2, 3 etc...then using ctrl+c to copy, and then using ctrl+v to past to another column.

If I click and drag the mouse to high-light each cell down from the first cell to the last in the same column and copy&past it works fine and doesn't change the last two cells in the other column.

I still can't get this to reproduce. Can you break the steps down any further?

example; here's what I can do to reproduce this,

In ignition timing on the low cam click on Col #2 with your mouse. It'll high-light the entire col then use control+c. then click on col #13 entire col will be high-lighted then control+v

On another note I have also found another bug;

after windows is suspended and Manager was left running will not datalog/record until the USB is physically disconnect and reconnected. Even if you close the manager and restart it. Something in the communication between the laptop and the FP firmware where it must get hung up.

I do extensive testing with this Manager, I would not mind using the private beta releases.

What Windows version and locale are you using? (country settings, decimal type, list separator character etc)
