When you disable the secondary o2 sensor in fp manager does it completely turn off ALL current through the wires of that sensor or does it only tell the ecu to disregard the information coming from it? I had an issue b4 I got fp where the wires rubbed against the fire wall causing the wires to short and put the car in limp mode (think thats what its called). Since then I have disabled the secondary 02 since im running no cat and all of a sudden (1 year later) it happened again. We initially separated each wire to the sensor and individual wrapped them with elec tape (yeah I know lazy/cheap way out).... just wondering if in fact current is still running through this sensor if thats what could have caused what happened tonight.
