When the fuel status shows 1 = open loop (sensor warming up), how much time is it normal to warming up?

Or could be in that status for another reason?

About 30 seconds from cold.

Is it normal the transitions in closed loop, to cold open loop and viceversa when the car already started a long time and it´s on the road?

It is normal to see status 2 (closed loop), status 1 (open loop - usually from engine load being over the closed loop threshold) and status 4 (open loop - usually from an engine overrun condition) when driving.

Thanks for the answer. Now I realized that fuel status=1 it´s also a link between closed loop and WOT.

But that drives me to another question? How the fuel status 1 works? Because I assume that in closed loop (fs=2) it tries to reach 1.0 lambda with the help of the trim,and in open loop (fs=4) it´s deteminated by the WOT tables in MAF configuration and by fuel tables in MAP calibration. In fuel status = 1, what determinates the load of fuel?

There are only two conditions - open loop and closed loop. In both open and closed loop either the volumetric efficiency (fuel) tables are used (MAP calibrations) or the AFM flow and fuel tables are used (AFM) to determine fuel to be injected. In closed loop there is an extra step of correction from the oxygen sensor.

Ok, now it´s clearer.

Another question that always I´m thinking, what´s the meaning of the numbers in the tables of fuel for MAP. I know (or assume) that it´s the value or relationship that the injectors are open. And if we double the value, the double of fuel injected. And so on if we increase or decrease a percentage.

But my question is the real value of the number. What unit measure it? Because on timing it´s degrees, but with fueling I don´t know if express cycles of the clock, or microseconds or what.
