Idle Learning Routine

Does hondata have a idle learning routine?

i.e

disconnect battery for 3 mins
idle 10 mins - no accessory
idle 10 mins - with defroster & blower
idle 10 mins with air-con, defroster & blower

What parameter should be use-defined and what should be left to the ECU to "self-learn"

1) IACV duty cycle for various operating conditions
2) Fuel Recovery rpm vs Target idle rpm
3) Idle Ignition Control

Compare and contrast the design approaches.

To implement self-learning for the IACV duty cycle, would that be a big deal from a coding/implementation point of view?

If it isn't i would like to ask Hondata consider this in future updates.

I think it would work like

Set the idle rpm and fuel cut recovery rpm and the ECU does the self learning on other parameters, like amount of degree for ign idle control. The ECU would build its own table IACV duty cycle and idle rpm etc and and adjust accordingly. I think Hondata would know what i am talking about.

It might get complicated...that is providing more option for the end-user

Hope hondata plans to implement a user-adjustable rpm where the injectors are switched back on, in the "return to idle" zone (orange zone above) :D

why it is needed

1) hard-coded fuel recovery rpm is 1,050 - tuner cannot adjust
2) not suitable for racing cams
3) additional accessory load e.g. vacuum pumps, supercharger?
4) definitely does seem to adjust for air-con

Be great if this can be implemented with a self-learning IACV duty cycle
