when in open loop idle goes up and down?

Post by Rockman »

I have a B18c with a Skunk2 IM, holley 68TB, 750 inj, 9:1 compression pistons, manley rods, MSD distributor. The problem is when I put my S300 in open loop to tune the idle goes up and down, up and down. When I put into closed loop it idles fine. I checked my IACV ohms at 11.2 set my TPS at .45v. Still idles up and down in open loop. I tried a fresh calibration with no help. Is this a ECU problem? Please help! anybody.

I'm running GSR cams, S300j v1.4.8 Idles smooth on closed loop but when I go to open loop about 5 seconds later the idles goes up and down a/f goes rich 12 to lean 17. I checked my Iacv its good, my coolant is bleed, my TPS is set correctly @ .45v. Timing is set to stock settings. I even tried a new stock calibration and adjusted my injectors. I recently downloaded the new v1.4.8 could this be it? Do I need to adjust anything? Spunkster where can I get the old version 1.4.7 to rule out my problem?

You should never go back to an older version.

You have posted calibrations, and not datalogs. without the datalogs it is impossible to see what is happening.
