Tuneable Fuel Cut Recovery Rpm

Post by Johnny_9 »

I was looking at other Honda specific tuning products ECU that are based on the the stock Honda ECU and not many have this feature, which I think is useful if racing cams are used as daily driver (stop go traffic) and idle is set higher than 1,000 rpm.

I was wondering how difficult and deeply embedded is this parameter, given there is warm up routines etc which affect the recovery rpm. If Hondata could give some insight into this

Are you referring to injector overrun cutoff?

I have not been able to disable the decelerating fuel cut either. All MAP vaues are at 8KPA and throttle position set to -10. It would make tuning the VE table a little easier.

1. thanks for the feedback; good to know it is an issue for others also.

2. based on experience with other standalone ECU, there needs to the "decel fuel recovery rpm" parameter that the tuner can set. current hondata s300/smgr version does not have this parameter.....

3. btw what cams? track or street car? what is your idle rpm set at

4. i think the only way to turn tps fuel cut off, is if u calibrate the TPS (closed) > 0.5v. How much I havent had time to experiement as setting the TPS v is a HASSLE..

5 i am crossing my fingers that hondata can address this in future (next release :D ?
