It is commonly believed that you need to reset the ECU (by pulling a fuse) after installing the re-flash. This is not necessary (in any case, why reset the ECU by removing power when it has spent the last day in transit to you without power?). However, the idle information saved in the ECU will be erased, which will be re-learnt automatically over a period of 4-5 driving cycles. Until that time the idle stability and control will not be as good as normal.
