Problem integrating Innovate LC-1 wideband to Flashpro

Hi,

I have a problem getting Innovate LC-1 wideband sensor working and displaying on the FlashPro Manager.

This is my S2000 detail:

Model: '08 S2000 DBW (Asia)
Engine: F22C
FlashPro Manager: v1.1.5.6
FlashPro: FP-S2K-INT

I have followed Hondata's instruction on wiring the aftermarket wideband sensor by removing the ELD pin (E15) and connecting the aftermarket output wire to that position and unchecking the ELD function on the FPM.

After this was done, the wideband display on the FPM does not move (stuck at 10:0 reading).

I have tested the LC-1 output wire on a multimeter and it shows varying voltage reading when car is started and also LC-1 gauge itself shows AFR reading when connected.

What could be the problem?

Hope someone could enlighten me on this.

Thanks!

What did you program the LC1 voltage output to?

Hi,

What my side did was to follow as per your instruction found on the site: http://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/in ... erface.htm

The LC1 output wire is connected to ELD pin position in the ECU connector and the LC1 voltage output was programmed as 0V = 10:1 and 5V = 20:1

Does the Asia S2000 have ELD? You'll need to look at the wiring diagram in the manual for that vehicle.

Yes, I should think so... I have confirmed the placement of the ELD wire and checked the neighboring wires colour code around the ELD with the factory manual. All the colour code matches as what it should in the factory manual so I'm pretty sure I couldn't got the wrong wire.

I have used the multi-meter to test the ELD wire for voltage:

Before engine start = reading 0.01V

After engine is started = reading 2.0+V to 3.0+V

Thanks.

Ok, post your calibration and a datalog for us to look at.

Have you cut the wire that originally went to the ELD?

Nope... I just removed the original ELD wire from the ECU connector and replaced it with the LC-1 wideband analog output wire. After that which I disable the ELD checkbox in the FPM as stated in the Hondata helpfile.

Hi, here is the datalog and calibration files for my S2K for your review.

Thanks.

3. LC-1 Cable connections:
A. Interface and power cables with 6 stripped ends*:
a. Red 12V supply
b. Blue Heater Ground
c. White System Ground
d. Yellow Analog out 1
e. Brown Analog out 2
f. Black Calibration wire
B. Serial In connection, 2.5mm stereo (female) marked as IN
C. Serial Out connection, 2.5 mm stereo (female) marked as OUT.
* 3.1 If you have an LC-1 with only 7 stripped ends the wiring is as follows:
a. Red 12V supply
b. Blue Heater Ground
c. White System Ground
d. Yellow Analog out 1
e. Brown Analog out 2
f. Green Analog Ground
g. Black Calibration wire
Quoted from the LC-1 Manual.

so: yellow Analog1 cabel is on ELD.
have you put the system, analog and heater ground right?

if not: ground it. that should help.

best regard Lukas

Is this problem actually solved?

Because it looks like we have exactly the same thing on:
Euro S2000 2006 (DBW) w F20 Engine PCX-G12 ECU
FlashPro Manager v1.1.6.6 on flashpro FP-S2K-INT

Original wire has been removed from ELD pin (E15).
Voltage measured on ELD pin with Innovate LC-1 connected and running engine is about 2-3 V. But FlashPro manager shows 0.0 V (=AF 10:0).

Note: if we select secondary ECT as wideband input we do get something that looks like an AF reading, but Euro S2k does not have a 2nd ECT according to the diagram in the manual.

With the ELD connected normally, do you get a ELD reading when datalogging?

With ELD connected normally (and wideband input ELD selected) we also get a 0.00 V reading.
See attached datalog and fcal

If you get no readings from the ELD with it hooked up as stock then you probably dont' have ELD compatibility to use as an input.
