error locking to ecu...

When I attempt to lock my flashpro to my ecu it says that it cannot be locked because the ignition isn't switched on, even though it is... i'm worried that I might have a defective product.

With everything plugged in what do the icons in the bottom left of hte FlashProManager screen show?

Did you purchase the FlashPro used or new?
