deceleration fuel cutoff

Post by ton »

Does the hondata s200 have a deceleration fuel cutofff. If so how do I disable this. I dyno tuned a turbo gsr with built internal with converative timing and 10.5 A/F ratio @10 PSI, but still end up frying the piston rings. I think this is due to a fuel cutoff once I decelerate and actually burning the piston.

Is there a minimun duty cycle like other aftermarket engine management.

How does the ecu know I am decelerating, through the brake signal or maybe the vehicle speed sensor. Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Tony

I think the deceleration cutoff is not the problem.

The ECU will cut-off fuel when TPS VOLTAGE goes below 0.47V which is 0% throttle or you just might need to adjust TPS.

Have more than 5 turbo customers tuned. only one dynoed. All are fine except for one car that blew a radiator hose and overheated.
