stage 4 vs 4b

what is the difference between a stage 4 and a stage 4b. i know 4b is for the boost option, but what extra do you get with it?

You said it. Boost option. Provides you with additional tables for mapping points for boost. Let's your ECU read the correct map value.

but if you have a stage 4 can u not add the boost tables with the rom editor? or am i missing somthing?

YES but the interface box will tell the ECU that it can't read boost. The box will need to be Stage 4B too.
