Problems

Post by zippeay »

Ok, I have a B16 with a P72 ECU, 440cc DSM injectors, T3/T4 setup. I had a shop install the hondata S200 with boost and I had them put the base map in just so I can drive it to a shop to get it tuned, I don't have the tuning capability because I don't know how to tune anyway. Well I plugged it in today and the CEL light stays one, I tried to check the code's but it won't check them, it just stays on. Also when I rev past 3,000 RPS it acts like it has a rev limiter, it does it in all gears. WTF is going on? Also the light on the box blinks like every two seconds or so. Please help

Your car has entered fail safe limp home mode. Make sure all connections are properly soldered and that the ECU is connected properly to the blue box.

3000 rpm limp = dead ECU, socketing problem or bad ROM. Talk with whoever you purchased the ECU/ROM from.
