Hi hondata,
I run a 2007 Fn2 type R, runing AFM cal.
When I dont have the AC on it idles normal, but when I turn on my AC it goes down to +- 500rpm everytime I press the clutch .
What can it be and how can this be fixed?
is there any type of AC idle compensation ?
thanks

I've mainly seen this when the idle learn procedure is not complete because the battery is disconnected or the ECU reflashed - it takes 2-4 driving cycles to re-learn. It could also be the throttle body.
The eliminate the throttle body put the return to stock flash in, complete 4 driving cycles from cold, then check if it does the same thing.

I have seen a drop in rpms when I sit in traffic with and without the A/C on. It sounds like it may stall but it recovers and never does. I have driven the car plenty so it shouldn't be learning idle anymore, correct?
Sorry I don't have a data log

Hi hondata,
well the problem is resolved.
I try the return to stock and it was the same.
So I runed the car for a day with the A/C always on (i never run the A/C as I don't like). The car started to learned the idle with the A/C (in the begin the car had the problem). In the end of the day the car is fine with the A/C on and never goes to 500 rpm.
Don't now if it's the correct, but my car almost have 2 idle learn procedures. One for the A/C off and one with the A/C on.
thanks

Yours sounds like a fuel trim issue.
