Map switching (tuner says not possible on s300)

I would like to have petrol maps a s a fall-back as i do quite a bit of driving and E85 is not always available and I wouldn't like to be stuck with an empty tank and no fuel for 40 miles.
Documentation says it possible

Tuner says:
"Unfortunately, an S300 is not capable of dual maps. "
Can i get a confirmation my tuner is incorrect on this and that what im asking to do is good option.
