Kpro not conecting. Kpro board burt.

Post by Jdm90cb7 »

Ok so I picked up a Kpro installed PNF ecu. Recieved it in the mail and looked it over only to discover that the Kpro board on the inside has a burnt spot on it. Wanting to know what fix there is for this, if any. Thanks.

More than likely the ECU and K-pro are both damaged and need to be replaced. I would suggest trying to get your money back from the seller.

Would Hondata repair it if I sent to them?

You are looking at a $100 diagnostic fee, then there is a high probablility that the ECU is damaged, so you will have to provide a new ECU, then it is $250 for a new K-Pro board, and $150 to have it installed into the new ECU. Total $500. Which is why you might want to try to get your money back.

Gotcha.. What if I sent the burnt ECU/Kpro to you with another PNF ECU. How much for Kpro to just be installed on the ECU? No Diagnostics?
